Since 2016, I have been co-creating community-driven projects and cultural spaces in Helsinki, Finland.

I have co-founded and organized cultural hubs, community projects, and music platforms, including Café Damascus, Contti Bar, Docker, and Yalla Collective.

These projects gained a loyal following due to their strong focus on community. They hosted galleries, music concerts, storytelling nights, and workshops, while also providing a platform for local home chefs, small food producers, and handcraft makers through events and markets. They also hosted club nights, themed events, and festivals featuring diverse artists, DJs, and performers.

Some of these spaces were built using recycled materials and shipping containers.

These projects celebrate community, creativity, and connection.

They created spaces where people could come together to share food, dance, and experience diasporic culture in Helsinki.
